Polygem 307FR Lite II™ Sculpting Epoxy
Build naturalistic, lasting exhibit features.
Building a custom reptile enclosure? Polygem 307FR Lite II™ is an animal-safe clay-like material that lets you turn foam into realistic rockwork, ledges, hides and climbing surfaces. It won’t melt or dissolve foam, and you can smooth it with water as you work.
Polygem 307FR Lite II™ is a lightweight, trowelable sculpting epoxy for zoo and wildlife exhibits, themed environments and custom habitat builds. Shape and texture rockwork, backdrops, ledges, perches and other exhibit details by hand or with tools. It can be smoothed with water, and it won’t melt or dissolve foam surfaces.
The dough-like material can be smoothed, stamped and sculpted, with up to 3 hours of sculpting time under the manufacturer’s stated conditions. Once cured, it forms an extremely hard, rock-like durable finish that can be sanded, shaped and painted.

Thickening agent included
Polygem 307 Thickening Agent lets you adjust the working consistency from a thinner paste to a thicker, more clay-like material. It can make the epoxy easier to sculpt and stamp, and help reduce sag on vertical surfaces. Each 2-gallon epoxy kit includes enough thickening agent for the kit.
Substrates and surface preparation
307FR Lite II bonds to properly prepared metal, wood, fibreglass, concrete, PVC, acrylic, plastics, rigid foam, lath and glass. It does not bond to silicone, polyethylene, polypropylene or plastic wrap.
Surfaces should be clean and free of dust, oils and release agents. Polygem recommends lightly abrading smooth surfaces to help adhesion.
Application and safety notes
For best results, work at approximately 23°C.
Working time decreases in warmer conditions and when mixing larger amounts. Mix the components thoroughly at the 1:1 ratio until streak-free, and only mix what you can apply within the working time.
Use suitable ventilation and PPE.
